~THE EARLY YEARS~
My love for creating pretty things started when I was a young child, hand-sewing dress-up clothing, drawing, learning calligraphy, weaving potholders, and making latch-hook kits. Over the years, I spent a lot of time sewing and handcrafting gifts for family and friends.

~FEELS LIKE YESTERDAY~
I received my BA in Studio Art and Hispanic Studies from Scripps College in Claremont, CA. During and after college, I spent a few years making costumes for large theater companies, doing custom production for a clothing boutique, and making countless sewn items for myself, family, friends, and for charities.

~HERE AND NOW~
Recently I've come full circle to my college passion for painting and have started incorporating my artwork into my creations. I am constantly curious about learning new crafts and techniques - I've experimented with crochet, tatting, beadwork, needle-felting, embroidery, reverse applique, and jewelry making.
